When my car did that it had also made it very hard to drive. I would press all the way on the gas but the car would barely move at all. Turned out to be the transmission switch.

I have an 05 Suzuki Forenza, it was doing the same for me. I had to replace the tranny mount and my tranny lines were rusted. Haven\'t had the problem since. I have put $4000 into the car in the past 6 months. Suzuki sucks!!!

slash means bad. ("international symbol that is")
so is if not help to us.
if you had the book , you'd not need to ask what it means.
nor what to do.
nor get stranded , (shows fuses and purpose it does)
nor burn up a good engine, ignoring the warnings, etc.

My 06 Suzuki forenza cae overheats

replace your thermostat and your coolant. if possible have a cooling system pressure test performed before doing any work. you may find other leaks or if its coming from your water pump not working properly.

I have a 2007 suzuki forenza that has atransmission problem can only drive in 3rd gear. On the dash has a D in a box with a slash trhu it. What is the problem

My wifes car is doing the same thing. Had the code pulled from the OBD II port and it gave me two codes: PO700, and PO705. Both codes pertain to a TRS (Transmission Range Sensor). Suzuki has an 84 month/ 100,000 mile powertrain waranty. Take it to the dealer and talk to them about the situation. The thing about Suzuki is that their transaxles (transmissions) are none-serviceable

My '06 Suzuki Forenza seems to be dragging heavily all of the sudden. It almost seems like i am shifting into lower gears and no matter how high my RPMS accel the car wont pick up. Also a symbols begins to...

sounds like a blocked cattalytic converter, disconect the exhaust from manifold and take car for a spin its going to be noisy see if condition improves, replace convertor if so

Gear is slipping

this is something that a transmission shop will have to fix. also sounds like the sensor on shifting of transmission isnt receiving proper shifting signal.

Would you say suzuki forenza 06 is a good car to buy?

They have been doing well and there problems are fewer than most. Sounds like you have a pretty good car. Have those trouble codes checked and repaired though so it does'nt cause problems down the road. Good luck.
