To remove the shock u raise the car and support semi-trailing arm. Disconnect shock upper and lower end but an remove the absorber. U install it in reverse but the final tightening of the nuts should be when the car on the ground and the tires touching the ground. For the spring u use a spring compressor and u just compress till it gets out. If u need more info firstname.lastname@example.org and send me pictures

SOURCE: 1985 nissan 300ZX wont start!!!
check the timing belt see if it jumped time or broke you can also tell but pulling distributor cap and see if rotor turns when engine cranks!!!
