Right ok firstly jack the car up put on axel stands take off the drivers side wheel then remove the plastic wheel arch cover then by the drive shaft you will see a bult which is located at the back of the alternater then undo the tentioner bolt which will be at the front of the alternater then at the bottm front part of the alternater there is another bult un do that to disconect the wires they might be bolted or clipped on then justpull it out from the back hope this was helpful

#1 cylinder is on the back of the motor first one to the ritght. On the driver's side. the cylinders go 1,2,3 fromright to left on the back of motor as stand facing the vehicle and 4,5,6 left to right in the front of the motor as you face the vehicle. Hope you understand what I'm telling you.

First, disconnect battery, than remove cables from starter (you may want to make mark so you don't get them mixed up when reinstalling,
Than Remove the two bolts holding starter.
Now you can pull out from top by exhaust manifold or if you have room to move through crossmember
