Rockenbock RC vehicles do not function at all after key is plugged in. LCD light on key doesn't light up at all when plugged into vehilcle even after batteries in vehicle have been replaced with

Vehicles in question came with a set of vehicles that included 3 in total. Out of the 3 in the set only one continues to function. The set as a whole has resided in my basement and has been rarely used till recent attempts when i discovered this problem. The vehicle that does operation responds instantly when a key is plugged into it by lighting up...after which it promptly operates to any input supplied to it by the RC controller. The other vehicles do not respond at all....acting as if they are receiving no current at all dispite the fact that they have all been supplied with brand new batteries. Please help with this problem....It seems rediculous to have to replace these vehicles entirely when they have been rarely used

put the key in the ignition and tap the key farther into the cylinder and turn. should work. seems like a chrysler problem! a handy tow truck driver showed me this solution last night. you can have the cylinder replaced if this keeps happening or just keep a handy-dandy whacking object in your center console for just such an occassion!

I would go with the corroded cables. You would have power to everything even with the alternator out of the truck.

I suspect you have two separate issues your lights staying on is possibly a faulty stop and tail light bulb check both , I suspect you may also have a faulty starter motor.

#4 pin on towing plug does not have power even with key on. Can you tell me what fuse it may be? I have looked at all fuses and can't find one blown. Or, could this be a different problem?

Are sure that pin doesn't control the brake lights or blinker? In that case the on position of the ignition alone would not provide power. Have a second person engage the brakes and blinkers wile testing.Depending on the trailer type it could even be for reverse lights.

My horn doesn't chirp when I lock the doors.

My chevy doesn't chirp on the first press of the lock button, it just locks. If you press it again, then it chirps. To be honest, I like the fact that it doesn't chirp first - that just draws attention to the fact that you left your vehicle.

I have a 2003 hyundai sonata and i dont have the remote for the stock alarm. My alarm keeps going off and my car wont start. I bought a new battery and even tried the key in the door still no luck.....

The 2003 Sonata is equipped with a 'starter KILL' burglar alarm system with disables the starting system (using a N/C 'contacts' configuration instead of a N/O contacts configuration). N/C=Normally closed, and N/O=Normally open contacts. When the alarm goes off with a MY Sonata, the only way to DISARM it is with the key fob (remote) originally programmed for it (unless you purchase a new remote & have it programmed for the vehicle at an authorized Hyundai Service Department). NOTE: So long as the keyless entry & burglar alarm system is functioning/operating normally, the alarm will keep going off and the STARTER KILL function will still prevent you from starting the vehicle. One option is left without purchasing a new remote and having it programmed.
1. When the alarm goes off, get into the vehicle and insert the ignition key into the ignition.
2. Turn the key to the 'RUN' position (NOT the ACC position) and wait for the alarm to STOP (usually about 3 to 5 minutes).
3. The engine should then start using the ignition key.

If this procedure doesn't work, the problem will need further diagnosis by a qualified/certified Hyundai Service Technician.

Hope this helps

Engine turns over, stalls out and alarm goes off

These vehicles use Fords Securilock transponder system to prevent vehicle theft. Basically, there is a little radio chip in the key that transmits a code to the computer when you start the car. If this code doesn't match the computer, the computer disables fuel and spark so the engine won't run. If you have a spare key, try that to see if it works. If it doesn't work, then the Securilock system needs service. Unfortunately only the dealer can service this system because it is integrated into the vehicle computer.

If your spare key works, then the key you tried to use has a damaged transponder and the key needs to be replaced. If you don't have a spare key, contact a locksmith and have them make you a new key. I have to warn you, transponder keys are not cheap. They can cost easily $75 and some even go for $150. But, that is probably cheaper then having Ford make one and even if the spare doesn't work, when you get the system fixed by the dealer they can program your spare key as well so you don't waste the money on the key.

My car will not start my lights, radio work its not the battery. I recently replaced the starter, the altenator, battery, fuel pump catalyic converter. when i turn the key there is no noise it won't...

Sounds to me like the starter or starter relay, OR did you check all the fuses? When the starter doesn't click or turn over the engine it is likely a problem with it or the power supply to it. Start with the easy thing. check the fuses, then the relay.
The P0300 is usually caused by something other than the spark plugs or coils. A fuel/oxygen sensor can cause this code. I would say that doesn't have anything to do with not starting.
Good luck.

At random times I cannot start my 2003 TrailBlazer. When I turn the key, the lights come up on the dash but it doesn't make any sounds like it's even trying to turn on. I cannot figure out what...

This may be the antitheft system starting to fail in your vehicle. Very common on GM vehicles. The key has a transponder in it that communicates with the ignition, and then the ignition passes that signal on to the TDM (theft deterrent module) which allows your starter to start, if any of these parts fail to communicate, the system shuts down and the starter wont roll over. This link explains the problem, lists symptoms, and offers some DO IT YOURSELF solutions to the problem.

Chevorlet express 1500 want turn over

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
Please do check the battery if it's fully charged. If it's not, have it charged for if it's weak there will be insufficient current for the starter to kick the flywheel.
If it still fails even the battery is fully charged then the problem can be on the starter, ignition coil or ignition switch. I strongly suggest that you have it looked at for this will require an on hand trouble shooting by an expert mechanic.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
