2006 Buick Rendezvous cd and xm not working but radio works fine

depends on what fuse. the fuse on the back of the stereo or the fuse in the fuse box? if the one in the fuse box it should show you on the cover that you opened to get into the box. it should say stereo. now if your looking for the one on the back of the stereo you will have to take the stereo out and on the backside you will find a fuse or two. good luck

1997 Buick park avenue, stereo stopped working but still says the time how an i make it work

The clock is on a seperate electrical circult from the power for the stereo itself. So the clock can work and the stereo could be bad. Get out your owners manual and check the fuses for the stereo first. If the fuses are good check for power to the fuses with a test light.

My radio is not working but did work

Pull out stereo and check for power at the wiring to the stereo. Most stereo wiring will have one permanent power which powers the stereo's memory, and one power which is switched by the ignition. This is the one which you are checking for. Whilst checking this wiring, also check the back of your stereo for any additional fuses. Many stereos also have one either in the wiring on the back, or plugged into the back of the stereo body itself.

Stereo system shut off!! is it fuse?

you haven't mentioned if that is an aftermarket stereo or a factory one. generally if it is a fuse your cigarette lighter won't work (they often use the same fuse). check the fuse with a multimeter. if it's fine you may have to pull out the stereo and make sure the wires have not come off.

CAR STEREO AND CLOCK DONT WORK, LOCATION OF FUSE 25

You are correct on checking the sterio, just 12+ and ground to see if it powers up. Fuse 25, in your fuse box should be numbered. If not, just pull them one at a time to see which one got fried.
