Question about 2001 Honda Accord

2001 Honda Accord Coupe

Passager side power window has a broken gear so the window won't say up all the way. Could you provide some help instructions as to how to replace the assembly. I plan on also replacing the windows regualtor as well. Thanks Bruce

You need to replace the entire mechanism. /unbolt the brackets connected to the door panel and slide the glass down.

The passager back window does not roll down


That power window motor is most likely at fault but you will have to inspect it to be sure it is the power motor and not the regulator.

Hi, The only power windows that work in my 2001 Windstar is the passager side only. What could be the problem with the rest of the windows? Tom


If the window motors aren't running, than it's your motors, if they are runniny then it's probably a cable that's broken or gear that's teath are stripped out.

yeah you can check your fuses on the driver side under the dash board, you will find one of them blowed.

Hi" make sure your window lock is not active on drivers window switches if ok replace passenger side window switch,its not your motor ,it would,t work whit driver side switch

Power Door Lock On 1990 Honda Accord LX Coupe is broken


Remove the door panel , should be a few screws and push clips.
once you have that off follow the rod from the latch to the handle to see where it has broken. you maybe lucky and find the rod has come out of a clip.Good luck and if you need more help let me know as my wife drives one of these.

check the ground wire for thi lite as it sounds like it is dirty or making bad contact.
