The cable on the KIa is outside near the sapre tire and gets rusted and corroded easily. Also there is a nut which holds the cable securely in a holder so that when you pull on the cable the inside and not the outside of the cable moves. Use WD-40 on the cable, make sure that the cable is secure in the holder and tighten the nut that holds the cable to the frame - the nut is located just below the pull handle, on the outside of the cable itself.

It sounds like a leak in the water jacket of your motor, it could be just a head gasket if you're lucky. Also check for a leak in the coolant pipes them selves usualy at the connections.

your rear cooler lines are leaking-they rust out(very common)the cooler lines are sold as a kit-include both going to rear-youll have to call around for quotes-when i worked at a kia dealer the repair was around $400-$600
