You are talking about the stereo right?
You can always upgrade your stereo, but be aware that any steering wheel stereo controls will likely not work with a non standard stereo unit.

SOURCE: can't find exterior temperature gauge in 2008 Lincoln Nav. L

Page 106 from the owner's manual. It says (if equipped), it's in the MESSAGE CENTER. Press the INFO button (you should see 3 buttons INFO, SETUP, RESET, pressing INFO will toggle the odometer display between a number of things like odometer, distance to empty, outside temperature, etc.

Good luck, if you still need help don't hesitate to stop by your local dealer and have them show you.

SOURCE: lincoln navigation dvd

On my '06 Navigator the navigation dvd goes in a slot on the console to the left of the passenger's feet. There's a removable panel.

On a side note... does anyone have a newer dvd for Canada? The one that came with my vehicle is compile for the Quebec (*gasp*) market and is outdated.

Where to buy new updated navigation cd for 2007 mkx

You can get Lincoln navigation discs from the following site:

ANY of the discs on that page will work for you. The disc that originally came with your MKX is the "2007 release" so anything with a newer year will act as an update to your MKX navigation system.

Hope that helps!

How to repair the suspension on a 1999 lincoln navigator

Any Navigator that is 4 years old & just out of warranty
you replace the air suspension with conventional conversion

I had a person yesterday that gave a lincoln dealer $9,600
since it was new in 2003 & still wants to pour more into it
& refuses to believe most people do the conversion

Seems the dealers can't solve those issues

On it's cousin the Expedition no problems & their is
air on the back

The Navigator is to Ford as the Oldsmobile was to
GM in the 1960's & later, sort of a test bed of bad ideas

04 lincoln navigator, Air ride problem. Driverside front and rear bags appear fully inflated. The passenger side looks normal height. When I shut the truck off driverside stays jacked up and passenger side...

My suggestion to you and all the other folks leaving questions on this board about collapsed air suspension systems in luxury cars is to fix that one by replacing it with a real spring and shock system which you can buy at if it is economically feasible, then sell it and avoid air suspensions systems like the plague. There are legions of old 70s Citroens still sitting idle 30 years later on collapsed air suspensions systems in garages and barns all over the country which cars the buyers can't let go because they cost so damn much. Get a coleman air mattress and use it every day, see how long it really lasts.

My 2003 Lincoln navigator warning tire very low chime goes off every minute. But the tires aren't low. How can I get it to stop?

You may have a failed Tire Pressure Monitor (TPMS -System) in one tire.
I would see, if a tire store could reset it, or if it failed,I would replace all four.

Basically a fancy tire valve, that is required by Federal Law on all 2008 and newer vehicles
The batteries go bad in 7 to 10 years, approx

2008 navigator l >> air suspension system in the rear is not working properly. i don't hear an air compressor running and the rear will not pick back up.

You should still be under warranty as Lincolns have a longer warranty, like 4 years and at least 50,000 miles.

The air suspension system has a diagnostic plug just like the engine and ABS. There are sensors for each wheel. You could try Autozone or Oreillys to see if they have the AIR RIDE scanner, but the dealer will have it.

It will be much faster at the dealer and if under warranty much cheaper.
