Mark the distributor position ,remove the bolt cap,and wiring ,remove from motor to make the job easier,unscrew the old module and fit a new module,don,t for get to use the Silicon paste on the back of the module.

The ignition module is located inside the distributor and costs almost the same as a complete rebuilt distributor. It's usually best to replace the entire distributor on your Accord, to resolve a bad ignition module.

SOURCE: Main Relay on 92 Honda Accord

HI...
On you Honda Accord the main relay is located.
On left side of dash, under the Instrument Panel. Left side of the Steering Column.
To get axces You will need to Remove the Cruise Control Module. That is attached with 2, 10mm screws. one on the Steering column, the other one at the dash braket.
after you remove the cruise control module, you will see a Little Box Gray colour, Is a Relay more biger than a Regular Relay.
The NUMBER on the RELAY is : RZ0088.

thats the main relay or the ignition switch not the tumbler the electronic side bolted to the tumbler in that circut is also distributer and the coil hope that answered your question

sounds like the Ignition control modual is defective or the stator in the distributor, they should be replaced as a pair

well sounds like your ignition is in need of repair
take the car to the lock smith they can re key the ignition and hopefully fix the problem

Loczation of the main relay 1992 honda accord with a 5 spd.


Check under the hood, there is a cover that is labeled, pop off the cover to expose the relays, there are also some at the fuse block located under the dash on the driver side.

I was driving down the road and my 1992 Honda Accord just died


check for spark and fuel...then replace ur vehicles igniter..(in ur distibutor)have ur pgm fi main relay replaced....up under the drivers side dashboard..

1986 accord auto is stuck in first


You have a bit of metal or clutch material in a fluid passage, you will need to pull the trans valve body and have it hot tanked, if that doesn't fix it you will need an overhaul. Good luck
