Its towards the rear of engine block behind the radiator just in front of the transmission belhousing. If you follow the batteries positive cable it will take back to the starter because it will be mounted to it.Make sure to disconnect the ground cable the battery before you mess with the starter or you could it to short out.

Ground wire location

Make sure all connections are TIGHT. Also you want to make sure its not your starter solenoid. Ford usually mounts them on the fender and you can jump them with a screwdriver to get the truck to start.

2008 sl awd Nissan Rogue, won't start Battery seems to have power making a clicking sound may be starter, having hard time finding starter location.

Know this problem was posted several years ago, but having same issue with my 2008 Nissan Rogue. We've tried everything short of having the battery replaced, (including charging it), and nada. So, tomorrow morning, that'll be our next move. Sucks, but best thing to die. Much rather than than an alternator, starter or solenoid.

Where is the starter located on a 2003 grand

before going after the starter, check the battery and connections. battery must have at least 12v and should be able to withstand a 200amp load for at least 15 seconds to check out as good. I think your starter is on the bottom side of the engine facing the radiator. easiest way to find it is to follow the positive cable from the goes right to it.

Clutch pedal real soft

You could have either a failing master or slave cylinder or the hydraulic fluid level is very low which could also be from a leaking master or slave cylinder; check for wet-looking areas around both.
The master is located either inside or under the hood on the firewall; the slave is located on the transmission housing itself.
Until you locate the problem, use neutral gear position when starting so the tranny doesn't drag and load the starter.
After replacing the defective cylinder, be sure to bleed the lines (like when doing brake repairs) to avoid having an ineffective or just spongy pedal again.
