The fuse box is located under the dash by the steering column as well as under the hood. You will find the fuse for the stereo under the steering wheel.

Search on gumtree.com for radio code, they will email the code from your serial number......I have used them and they are quicker and cheaper than main dealer!

the radio fuse is located in the fuse box inside the car underneath the panel by the light switch.

My car radio,cd,tape player and clock does not work


hi margie, your fault lies with the power line feeding both your clock and car radio units. check the fuse of the line feeding your radio/clock section. the fuse box should have the areas clearly marked. also check if the ground connection to radio/clock is not diconnected sumhow. if this advice does not help then it wub advisable for you to consult with nearest auto-elecrician. cheers.

Which fuse is the one that makes the stereo go


it is usually the accessories fuse under the bonnet or under the dash ,but the radio may also have its own line fuse in the power wire that goes into the radio,you may have to pull the radio out to get at it....hope this helps....cheers

sounds like a fuse, if aftermarket stereo should have inline fuse in behaind stereo

the ford units have two holes on either side of the stereo and require 2 special pullers that can be obtained from the dealer. insert and pull. cheers

I have a ford focus 05 plate 1.6 climate with basic stereo system with no Aux button. My question is is there a port at the back of the stereo to fit an AUX lead so i can play my MP3 through the stereo?


if it is the sony unit then there may be a jack in the bach of the set for an i pod or mp3 player

2002 Ford Expedition OEM Radio is Dead


Yes there is a fuse connected to the wire on the back of the stereo. Pull the face plate off and pull the stereo out. If that's not the problem, check to see if the stereo is still grounded to the firewall.
