SOURCE: When I turn on the

This is likely a bum BCM ( body control module) which also acts as your complete fuse block. This will be on the very left of the dash board either with the door open and behind a panel or under the dash. You can usually get a used one from a local salvage yard. Be sure to match all numbers that are on the unit itself or it can effect the accesories you have by causing some not to work. If you need instructions on removal, let me know.

2000 Ford Expedition, Lights won't time out

You either have a windshield leak & water in the
delayed relay & or the GEM Module failed

If only the lights are effected & not the radio,
blower, interior lights- the the GEM is most likely
okey

Then you trouble shoot the main problem

Try Google There is an overwhelming amount of ford
problems you can read

Interior lights stay on wile i'm driving my 2005 lincoln navigator

Only one bad door switch should do that

The 20 min time out is the GEM or Body Module,
which is normal only because you have a bad switch,
otherwise it goes to sleep when either front door opens

Put radio on & open a door, the radio should go off
& kill the time delay if no issues exist

My interior lughts won't go out when the doors are closed after the van is shut off

Could be the front electronic module. The module has a timer that holds the lights on for about 60 seconds after you exit the van.

Peugeot boxer van 2007 changed interior light bulb blew fuse, renewed fuse, lights worked, but emissions lights on dash board came on and won't go out. Help

Try reading the OBDII with a code reader and see what it is then erase codes and see if it stays off ,could be more than one circuit on this fuse so the fuse blowing has thrown the light on for whatever reason ,Also try disconnecting the battery just out of interest for a few minutes and reconnect it might go out if your lucky

Do you have a dimmer switch for interior lights and dash lights that is turned all the way on? You may also be able to turn them all the way off. My chrysler is a van and the dimmer switch is a wheel that rolls vertically.

if your hazard lights stay on, you may have a problem with the hazard switch on your stearing collum. try moving it back & forth several times, eg. on, off, on, off always ending @ off & see if that works. they do get sticky @ times. your brake lights will work but your turn signals won't work properly with the hazard switch turned on. let me know if problem persists & will see if i can help you more. good luck.

My 95 Ford Windstar has just developed a rather distressing problem. In the morning, I get in my van and everything is fine. A few hours later, when I get in my van and start it, there is a warning bell...

one of the door ajar switches are sticking. needs to be put on the computer to find out which one. only other way is to go around and unplug the switches until your light shuts off.
