Take a long nose pliers they have to come off, are you pulling it from the plug itself? did the vehicle stand for a long time if so spray Q20 or something to loose the corrosion

Thank you

99 chevy silverado won't start in park **** will

It could be the Neutral Safety Switch or Trans Range Switch located on the side of the trans where the shifter cable attaches. Check it and see if the wiring plug has been hot or deformed. I would have it checked first. Don't just go buy one and toss it on because I said to check it. I don't want you to waste money guessing.

I need to replace a camshaft sensor in a 99 silervado where is it

Easy one.

1)Disconnect negative battery cable
2) Disconnect spark plug wires and ignition coil wire from distribtor
3) Disconnect CMP (cam position) sensor harness connector from the distributor.
4) Remove distributor cap screws.
5) Remove distributor cap
6) Remove rotor screw
7) remove rotor
8) Align the square slot in the reluctor wheel with the CMP sensor.
9) remove CMP fasteners, then remove CMP.

WHEN INSTALLING:
  1. Align the square slot in the reluctor wheel with the CMP sensor.
  2. Insert the CMP sensor through the reluctor wheel slot.
  1. use new mounting screws for the sensor!!

good luck have fun...remember if you don't think you can do it, It's better to take it to a shop than to destroy an entire engine.

99 chevy silverado running rough and stalling.

the problem you are discribing would lead me to belive your fuel filter is clogged which is a simple fix 3 dollar part at any part store or on the worse hand your fuel pump itself could be weak you can open the gas tank cover and have another person turn the truck key to the on position without going far enough to start you will hear a faint whining noise if it is going bad or a louder noise if it is fine Good Luck

Heater/ac switch speeds 1 and 2 don not work in 99 Silverado

you need a resister found under your air duct by the passenger floor under dash board auto zone sells these for about 25.00 you may as well buy cabin air filters while your at it . 1 of the screws will be a pain to install back into the duct work I left mine out didn,t make a difference . you might have to order it as they are a comman item oh you will need a vacuum to clean up mess from cabin air filters .this is not a hard job .

THE metal cover is just a sleeve on wire. it will come off with it. try turning wire back and forth to loosen it up from plug. helps a lot to have a set of wire puller pliers

Spark Plugs

You must mean the wire. There is a metal heat shield around the wire at the motor and it is connected to the wire.Just put a pair of needle nose pliers on the metal sleeve and twist it and pull it off
