The clicking sound is the drl relay in the fuse block remove the left head light assembly and check the blue wire headed twards the washer bottle. if all ok then check twards the right side of the car.

2003 POTIAC SUNFIRE HORN DOES NOT WORK WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

HI. The first check point will be the fuse. make sure that the fuse filament isn't severed. This is common. If the fuse is in good condition, move onto the wiring and horn device. There may be a disconnection at the horn connection point. You can also test the connection wires for shorts, as well.

More than likely the actual horn may need to be replaced if the wiring and fuse prove to be in good condition. A basic multimeter can be used for the wire test, if you have one.

NOTE: In rare cases, the horn switch in the steering wheel could be the culprit, although, highly unlikely in most cases.

I cant find where to replace the speed sensor on my 2005 potiac sunfire

it is on the transmission, single bolt holds on place, usually a round sensor that fits into a hole near the tail shaft (right axle).

2003 sunfire- right headlight low-beem bulb is not working. Replaced, and still does not work. Suggestions?

Hi, there are separate fuses for the left and right headlights. Look in the fuse panel inside the car for a fuse marked RT HDLP.

Need the torque specs and sequence for the engine oil pan 1999 potiac sunfire 2.4

Torque on the oil pan bolts is 18 lb/ft. Tighten in a criss cross pattern slowly tightening the bolts down making multiple passes until you have them torqued.

Daytime running lights and low beam lights not workin, fuse is fine. Replaced relay lights still don't work.

I just worked on a Pontiac Sunfire on a light issue. The driving lights are on a separate switch on a 2003 from the dimmer switch. Have you checked to make sure both low beam light bulbs for your headlights are not burnt out on low beam? Have you checked to make sure you have power to the low beam where the connector connects onto the bulb?

Yellow wrench/service light is on no codes in system, dont have owners manual is this an oil life reset light?

I had the same problem... yellow wrench "service" light and a clicking noise on my DRL (daytime Running Lights) icon. I found no codes when I put my diagnostic computer on it. Turned out I had a headlight out. Replaced the bulb and everything is hunky dory now!

2003 sunfire wiring

I had that problem, and I thought it was the ground as well, but it turns out the splice in the wire harness sits at the absolute lowest level the bundle could, and it collects water. I opened mine up, and it was completely corroded. It appears there was a recall on this, but if you got yours used, as I did, you wouldn't have been notified.
I fixed that, but my fog lights are out now.
