Try taking off your fuel line between the fuel tank and the engine... and blowing high pressure air thru it. I have a 85 ford f150 that had this issue and this solved it.

You need to check the fuel pump cutoff switch (located in kick panel), see if the wires to the switch are burned and melted, if they are buy a repair connector from Ford and replace the switch. Also the ignition starter switches in this truck have a habit of coming apart and causing a loss of power to the fuel pump or the ignition system. The switch is operated by a long rod from the ignition lock cylinder and it mounted to the steering column tube down near the bottom of column

SOURCE: motor stalls when driving then starts and stalls right away.

Replace the distributor's magnetic pickup located inside the distributor surrounding the distributor shaft, the only other thing thankfully on this ignition system if memory serves me on the f 150 straight six 300 cu inch is the dura spark ignition control box, of course do the obvious tune up parts replacement dist.cap rotor, plug , sparkplugs before spending the $40.00 - $50.00 bucks on the dist.. pick up, you may have a weak a fuel pump check for adequate fuel pressure at carb 7 - 10 lbs.

Have you checked to see if it is getting spark? Do you know if the fuel pump works? Have you tried starter fluid to see if the engine will run on that?

1995 ford f150 - truck ran fine.turned on turn signal and started around turn and truck shut off and will not start.it has no fuel pressure in fuel rail and no diagrams for fuel pump relay's...

You can get a 1996 manual at the link below. That may be close enough. It shows 5 relays in the box under the hood. Relay 2 is for the fuel pump. Your wiring diagrams are at the second link below, and the particular diagram for the relay is at the third link.

My 90 f150 starts and runs great when it reaches operating tempit quits as thuogh you turned it off replaced temp sensors still have this problermi can wait 5 minutes it starts and runs

Under the hood in the engine compartment on top of the left fender well or the drivers side you will see three small rectangular shaped plastic modules. One is the fuel pump relay one is the horn relay and one is the starter relay. Before you buy another to replace the fuel pump relay at a cost of about $16.00 take the horn relay and put it in place of the fuel pump relay. If your problem is solved go and buy another relay and install it in place of the bad relay. These relays go out frequently in the older Fords. It's been in there a long time and the points that make contact get burned after years and years of service and quit working when they get hot. A very common problem. Good luck.
