Hi Leonciomanal,
This is not a quick answer type of question. Do you have a timing light? If not, then you'll need to get one. If you have one, connect it to the number 1 spark plug and aim the light at the timing mark on the flywheel of the timing belt. Loosen the distributor cap and turn it slowly to adjust the timing as necessary.

Hope this helps. Please rate this response

Ignition timing is controlled by the pcm.if ignition timing off either you have pcm problems or timing chain slipped time.

My Cherokee Laredo V6 engine have 1 cylinder not firing, checked the voltage of the wires connected to the injector and one is under voltage while the rest have the same voltage. changed the spark plug but...

The only V6 engine I could find in a Cherokee was in the mid 1980s and it was carb not fuel injected. The 4.0 straight 6 engines that were fuel injected used the same black wire for all 6 injectors to power them. Each injector has a different ground wire from the computer.
The injector in question should have the same input voltage as the others and then a ground signal on the other side when the computer commands it to open. All 6 injectors should also have the same resistance when the harness is unplugged.

2004 trailblazer code po306 and we changed out plugs, coil and still po306

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0306 is defined by SAE J2012 (REV, DEC 2007) as "Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected".

To put it plain and simple, there is a problem with cylinder #6 in your engine that is causing it to misfire.

Misfires can be caused by several things. One of the things that must be understood is that a misfire is simply one or more cylinders that are not producing the power that they should. - especially when compared to other cylinders in the same engine.
The things that can cause this include, but are not limited to:
> Ignition system
> Fuel delivery system
> Fuel injection system
> Cylinder compression (which can be affected by many of the things below)
> blown head gasket
> Burned or bent valves
> Vacuum leaks
> Faulty wiring
> cracked piston or broken piston rings
> Restricted exhaust
> malfunctioning Powertrain/Engine Control Module (PCM or ECM)

To fix the code, you must first diagnose to determine which of these things is causing the misfire, then repair accordingly.

Installed a rebuilt cylinder head set timming to all data and mitchells timming book wont start blowing back threw intake

Sounds like your timing is out 180 degrees. Recheck by making sure #1 piston is on the compression stroke, then retime.

Does V6 Cherokee Larado have a timing chain or belt?

First off, if you have a 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine, then it is an inline 6 rather than a V-6. To answer your question, it has a timing chain.
