SOURCE: why do i keep blowing starter fuse

The starter fuse also controls the fuel pump. Generally a bad fuel pump is at the heart of the problem. Have it checked out. Regards,Joe

SOURCE: 2002 chrysler sebring fuse keeps blowing for

For your ignition you should use a 20-30 amp fuse. However, it sounds like you have a short somewhere. If you have a short it is not going to matter how big of a fuse you use it will keep blowing out. You best bet would be to take your car into the shop and tell them you have a short and to find and fix it. I must warn you though, shorts are very often times very hard to find, and take alot of time to find. Therefore most of the time they are expensive to fix. I know that probably was not what you wanted to here, But I hope it gives you a place to start out at. Hopefully this helps you out.

I have a 2000 intrepid and it blows the 02 ssr sensor everyday i put a 30 amp in it ran great for aweek then those started blowing what can i do to fix this?

Fuse for an Oxygen Sensor?
You don't use the car,you component
test the sensor or it's circuit & resolve the issue
For a fuse to blow you would need a failed heater circuit
in the sensor,so it basically faied
O2 Sensors get replaced every 100,000 miles or sooner if they fail
first.
You should have a MIL lamp on your dash & codes to be
checked

FUSE 28 KEEPS BLOWIN ON MY 2000 FORD TAURUS (DURETEC MOTOR) AND TRANSMISSION IS NOT SHIFTIN TO OVERDRIVE. THE FUSE CONTROLS THE HEGO SENSOR TRANSMISSION SHIFT SOLENOID,CANISTER VENT ,A/C CLUTCH RELAY,

You need to check each component that is on that fuse for a short. You can disconnect them all and put a fresh fuse in. If it doesn't blow immediately, plug the components back in one at a time (with the key on) and check the fuse each time. When it blows, you will know which component is faulty.
