SOURCE: Heat wont blow through heater or defroster vents

The door in the heater box is most likely stuck. It is located under the dash on the passenger side

SOURCE: Faulty Fan Heater - The main vents are just blowing out cold air.

Go to your idrive., climate the vent settings. you will see a person along with vent areas on the side.
If this persons color is blue it blows cold air so turn the dial for vent closest to that person until the
color changes red then hot air comes out on the vents for driver and passenger. Then let me know.

SOURCE: 1996 chevy blazer my air on heater will not blow

the idea of the switch is run on vacuum and is not making contact with the switch it self either worn contacts in the switch itself **** as an obstruction as well or the vent door is stuck in just that position either behind the glove box or the ash tray are the vacuum lines one of them may be pinched off or the door needs a bit of help until you can free it up

My yukon 2005 front air condition does not change position and does not blow air on dash vents it only blows under the dash and on top the dash

Under the dash on the side of the heater and air unit is a motor that moves the air door. Check to be sure it is working sounds as if it is stuck or burnt out.

Jetta 4 2.3 v5 heater does not work, only blows cold air

Hi, if the temperature gauge read zero then the thermostat is gone.
If it's just no heat and the gauge on the dash is reading normal coolant temperature then it may be the Coolant Temperature Sensor. If the heater core was gone there should be a leak inside the car somewhere. Hope this helps

Why does my heater not work in my car the center console heater works but my dash heat does not but the buttons light up and you can hear it but doesnt blow out what is wrong ? i have am 1994 cadilac...

Behind the dash are tubes that carry the hot air to the different vents. When you select dash output, the buttons send an electric signal to motors to open flaps in these tubes. The buttons are lit, so they have sent the signal, it hasnt reached the motors or the motors are not turning the flaps, so the air does not get routed to the dash. That is what is wrong

Heater blowing out cold air

Several things.
If the heater hoses are hot, the problem could be a blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and out the vents.

2005 ford explorer that has no heater control

the next thing to check would be the selector motors, these motors are what move door to get floor or defrost or vent air and also hot/cold air, look under the dash try to find them, there bolted to heater box, there are 3, locate one by one then move every control and watch to see linkage move find the one that doesnt move and thats your problem, hope this helps.heres a picture to help you know what it looks like.7d37251.gif

A/C malfunctions

you have a problem with the mechanism of your heater, the vent from the heater doesn't close well that's why hot air from the heater still flows to your vents.

Vents only blow hot air

its either the blend door motor or just door is stuck or the switch could be bad to activated blend door motor. Or the the switch is on the heater core lines (outside in engine compartment) may not be functioning but I think your car is too new for that option.
