Question about 1991 Chevrolet Camaro
Hi i have a 95 camaro v6 and the other day i went to my car and it wouldnt turn over it acted as if it wanted to but it just didnt wanna do it, sounded rough i have 201 thousand miles plus on it, all the car did was pop and bang out the tail pipe backfire, i had the car out the night before and it ran fine, i was thinking that it was to cold to start i live in buffalo ny so it can get cold, i put stp fuel treatment in the fuel tank and all oil treament also i really dont know about car problems unless i get one and have to fix it
My first thought is battery replacement. Cold weather will sink a marginal battery. After jumping it, does it turn over faster, adequitly. If a battery is weak, on a cold morning, spark plugs will not get enough energy to fire. Backfire through the exhaulst can also be caused by too much gas. Make sure the choke is not stuck closed. Hope that helps l
