SOURCE: 05 G Caravan Dash Lights, gages & headlights intermitantly flicke

Try your headlight switch. If it is going bad it should affect all of these since they all work of the same switch.

SOURCE: Lights started flickering battery light came on Dash lights and gages went crazy now wont start

Like you said, battery may be flat. You can check that with a multimeter.

Next check the alternator. Faulty alternator leads to uncharged battery.

SOURCE: The lights on my dash board flicker on and off then turn off.

I had the same problem some time ago, lights would go on and off, odometer appeared to stop counting at times rpm gauge would work and then not... power steering would off and on work and head lights would blink on and off when in driving light mode (off position).. The fix for me was I had to have the dash computer replaced (about $500). After doing this around 50k miles ago all the gremlins seem to have remained gone.. Hope this helps

Battery wont charge, battery/ABS/SRS/BRAKE lights come on while driving and flicker. voltage increases to dash lights/fan speed/headlights periodically.

Get a volt meter, start your car and see how many volts your car is producing while running. Should be around 14 volts. May want to watch the meter for a while since your electric seems to fluctuate. Most voltage regulators are internal of your alternator. If you are getting a lot more or less than 14 volts while running, replace the alternator. If it is not charging, voltage will drop as vehicle runs, until battery is dead.

What does the check gages light mean?

It means that one of the gauges is registering an abnormal reading, like low oil pressure or an overheating engine. Hence the warning of CHECK GAUGES" Please read your owners manual for more info on this subject.

Battery light comes on, then radio cuts in and out and dash lights flicker. Also the driver window switch causes the radio to cut out when used.

I can help you with the first problem. The battery light comes on when the charging voltage drops. With the car running you should see a charging voltage of at least 13.5 volts and preferably 14 volts. You can check this with a volt meter at the battery. If you see 12 volts than there is a problem with the charging system and most likely the alternator has gone bad. You should check for power on the terminal that the large wire goes to on the back of the alternator. If there is power than a new alternator will more than likely take care of the problem.

Exterior lighting flickering on and off

Are all the lights flickering? Might be a fuse. Might also be a short.
After checking/replacing fuses, grab a friend and multimeter (or the cheap 12V gages that have a light).
Press the brakes, turn on the lights, etc and put the gages to the appropriate terminals on the lights (if you turn the lights on, put the meter on the terminals of the light, if you're checking the brake, put the meter on the brakes). You should see ~12V (or the light turn on) on each of them, if you see something significantly more or less, there is a short somewhere. Test different wires and try to triangulate the problem area.
