How do I replace the brake light bulb

1.Open the tailgate.
2. Locate the plastic plugs attached to the brake light housing (on the right side of the driver side light, on the left of the passenger side).
3. Carefully pry up the plugs with a screwdriver or other flat tool (I believe there are two).
4. The light should be free to pull out (pull toward the rear of the vehicle). You should see two torx screws.
5. Remove the bolts and pull the housing away from the tail light lens.
6. Twist and pull to remove the correct bulb.
7. Insert the new bulb into the holder and replace the housing.
8. Verify that the replacement bulb(s) are working.
9. Reinstall the torx screws and place the assembly back into it proper location on the vehicle.
10. Push the plugs back into the holes and verify that it is secure.
11. Close the tailgate and check for proper fitment.

Attempting to remove plastic molding around passenger rear vent motor, having difficulty. any help would be appreciated

This is more difficult than it looks because the rear trim panels must be removed in a certain order as they overlap at their edges.

First remove the rear seat.
Remove the step panel from the floor near the side door opening.
Unbolt the 2 seat belt anchors.
Remove the trim panel below the lift gate (rear hatch opening.) Pry the screw plugs out with a small screwdriver and remove the screws.
Pry out the rear speaker grill using a flat blade screwdiver that has been taped to prevent scratches.
Remove the rear speaker mounting screws. Pull the speaker out and unplug the connector.
Remove the passenger side trim panel mounting screws.
Use a panel clip removal tool and pry the clips that hold the trim panel then lift the panel away.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Location of heater assembly fire wall bolts and how to remove heater core on my 1993 YJ Wrangler?

you will need to remove the heater housing(air box) . the blower is mounted in it. start by removing the control cables (slide your heater controls and you will see them move under the dash),they just snap in place.be careful not to break the plastic tabs. unhook the defroster tube(looks like a corrugated paper pipe in the center and on the top of the housing). unplug the wire harness in the upper corner of the passenger side. now under the hood remove both heater hoses. then remove the four mounting nuts on the firewall [they are 7/16] . one nut is on right side of the battery.one just left of the battery. one is under the battery toward the bottom of the firewall.the 4th is by the left rear corner of the valve cover. there may be an accelerator cable loom snapped over this stud,it just pries off. lay a towel or rags on passenger floor to catch any anti freeze. with all 4 nuts now removed, pull the housing away from the firewall.you may have to tilt the bottom out slightly. once the housing is removed take it to your work bench. There will be a metal panel on the fire wall side of the air box remove the screws to remove this panel to gain access to the heater core. fairly simple, but the nut under the battery can be a pain to get to.

Need to replace glove box in 1998 malibu How to do it

Take a large screwdriver and pry the right (passenger) side of the glove box away from the housing it sits in. Towards the drivers side. You will see a white teflon bushing that sits about a 1/4" into the housing. Once it's cleared you can angle the box toward the right some more. Then pry the left side away until it clears the housing and the box will come straight out. How to separate the inner and outer plastic skins of the box to replace the catch mechanism or lock is still a mystery to me.
Hope this helps cuz I couldn't find squat on this subject :)

How do i proceed to remove 2006 ford focus alternator? Where should I start?

Instead of removing the engine mount, just slide the fan housing (holds the two electric fans) out of the way. You only have to thumb the two top clips open (no tools required), then lift the housing from its lower supports and slide it several inches away from the alternator (really easy to do). This allows plenty of clearance to remove the alternator and replace it.
The hardest part is once the alternator has been disconnected from all its mechanical and electrical connections. It won't come out unless the passenger side engine mount is unbolted ( 3 bolts, 19 mm I think ) and the engine is pried forwards. Once this was done, it would be pretty easy. Don't forget to remove the negative battery terminal before starting.

1991 range rover passenger seat doesn't move

You could try swapping out the seat switch from the other side if you are just trying to move the **** portion forward or backward. What usually goes wrong is the seat switch gets corroded and needs to be disassembled and rebuilt. The opposite seat switch will no fit the other side and mount but you can finesse it around to a position where you can make connectioin.

To remove seat switches - Use a small screw driver to carefully pry up the button control knobs (**** and back knobs) on top of the switch housing. Next, remove the cover plate and there you will have 2 screws exposed to remove the switch.

Replacing passenger side mirror

If you are replacing the entire mirror assembly you have to remove the door panel.

First remove the switch plate by prying upward at the rear of the switch plate and unhook the connectors. Then remove the two armrest screws. The door panel then has to be pryed away from the door to release the clips. They don't give up easily so yo may have to force it a bit. Once the clips are loose pull up on the panel to remove it from the window reveal molding. The mirror is held on with three 10mm nuts. remove those and unhook the wiring from in the door. Install is reverse of removal.

Good Luck
