Question about 1992 Mitsubishi Galant
Hi my car ticks when first started got told it needed a tune by one then another z it needs tappets adj then 2nite i was told my car doesnt have tappets but has lifters instead which cost $60 ea an d need 24 i paid 1200 for this car 1992 mitsi galant 4dr v6 otherwise runs gr8
Hello! I presume from your brief description the ticking/clocking noise goes after a few seconds? if so I wouldn't be at all worried, your Hydraulic lifters are doing there job filling themselves with oil again and getting to work.
If However they are making a clicking/tappety type noise all the time then there is an additive you can purchase specifically designed to assist Hydraulic Lifters of which I would add after a Quality Oil and Oil filter change.
Hope This FixYa's Problem!
