Spark plug gap for 1997 mitsubishi trition 2.4 petrol ute

Spark plug gap does not effect the engine timing so it's not that critical. Thirty 5 (.035) should work just fine.
Otherwise consult a service manual fro your model or call a Mitsubishi service centre

was the right bulb fitted in the first place as it sounds like a back feed between the tirnmials and back feeding the dash lights

How to replace cluch fluid in mitsubishi triton 1998 ute?

On the slave cylinder will be a bleed port, remove this fitting (port), remove the fill cap and let the fluid drain into a pan, will not take long if you help by pushing on the clutch pedal a few times.

4wd light keeps blinking on dash of my 2005 triton ute It's not in 4wd and when I put it in 4wd the light stays on steady

It is just a sensor. It will cause no damage to your car. It might annoy the heck out of you though.
