Question about 1996 Ford Escort 4 Door
Hi there by dipped i mean on the stalk when the headlights are on there are two settings, push foreward for high lights , pull back for low (dipped0 lights the high lights, side lightd, fog lights all work but the standard low lights will not.
First question, have you actually tested the bulbs out of the car? If not, its worth just testing them in another car or with test wires onto the battery...
Check also the four headlamp fuses. There should be one for each headlamp for each beam setting.
If you know they are good, your suspect is probably the stalk controlling the lights, or the headlamp relay. The stalks are a bit prone on these.
