go to a automotive paint supply, look in the phone book, they will have a product made by 3M chemicals that is called flexiable parts repair putty, it is a special epoxy used to repair these bumpers.

Not sure on the lenght but if you take the old one to a scrap yard and tell them what transmission it's out of, they should be able to fix you up. Use the old one to double check the length.

If you are writing about the shifter linkage, go to ebay and find yourself a saturn shifter repair kit.
this is a common problem, and you can do it yourself if you can get the console out. kit is less than 20 bucks.
