B6205 Intake air temperature sensor X6205 Component connector (2-pin, black), Intake air temperature sensor
To access this part of the intake manifold, you will nedd to remove the cosmetic covers on teh top of the engine. there are a total of 4 screws, all 10 mm, that need to be removed, under teh round caps in the cover.

Having driven many BMW's for the last 15 years, my advice is to remove the cold intake and go back to the factory original, the car runs alot smoother and the fuel economy is much better. the chapest way of doing this is to buy a second hand one from ebay etc as well as buying the original MAF sensor.

on some cars this sensor is located on the air box where your air filter is or on the tube that goes from your air box to the engine

havent a clue on this one ,never seen a GMC sierra ,but i could tell you on a ford sierra .-sorry a totally useless reply ,only a suggestion but call the shop where you bought it they should know
