You may need the whole control arm if not get a jack and a big hammer. jack the control arm up a little and hit the ball joint up or down there is a clip you have to take off then hit it until it comes out. big hammers normally fix alot you just need to know were to hit her i meen IT

If you are replacing with new....you have to grind off the old if it is rivited in...to install...it's new hardware and it is BOLTED in. No special tools.
