Question about Isuzu Cars & Trucks
Does the engine turn?
Is it perhaps the key program which has been reset?
As a temporary solution in this case, in order to get a vehicle moving, or to test to see if it is this case, do the following (this doesn't work on all types, but some of the older Isuzus) Take out the vehicle's speed sensor from the gearbox and spin it with your fingers while having someone else crank over the engine.
On most vehicles, they are fitted with a failsafe program which allows the engine to still run if the vehicle is in motion and if there is an issue with the keycode program. If the vehicle is allowed to shut down when failing to recognise a key at speed then the brakes and power steering would fail.
The method I just described may not fix the issue with a key program for the long term, but it has worked for me before on a 1990's Bighorn (Isuzu Trooper).
