Question about 1998 Chevrolet Blazer
Are connections at battery clean and tight? Also check connections/plug ins on alternator, clean/tight also? My truck was not charging last week, found plug in on alt. very dirty and some corrosion on connectors on the plug in. Cleaned up w fine sandpaper, applied dielectric grease to connection (available at parts stores to prevent corrosion)
Have the voltage regulator checked, as this may be the cause.
Last thing to try, have the battery and alternator tested, even if they are new, one may be defective. Parts stores will check them in or out of vehicle for free. Let me know how u make out.
