SOURCE: Chevy Cavalier 2001 turn signal blinks fast

If new bulbs don't work, it is probably the harness that holds the bulb. I had to replace both on my car after fighting with the problem for over a year and not knowing.

SOURCE: TURN SIGNAL BLINKS TO FAST RIGHT

The blinker usually blinks fast when a turn signal light is burnt or not contacting. Check the signal bulbs to see if they are contacting or in good condition. If that is not it. Try replacing the blinker under the dash.

SOURCE: 2006 KIA Sedona. Left turn signal light indicator

The first thing to check in this case would be the bulb itself. Remove the 13 plastic body screws retaining the the black plastic shroud at the front of the engine compartment. Next, remove the 2 10mm bolts retaining the lamp assembly. Gently work the assembly loose and pull it away from the vehicle; make sure to keep the assembly supported if you don't disconnect all of the wiring harnesses attached to it. Squeeze the clamp on the wiring harness to the turn signal bulb and remove the harness. Turn the socket assembly to remove the socket and bulb. Gently twist and remove the bulb. You should be able to see if the wire filaments are still continuous.

If the bulb is good, look at the inside of the socket. There is a little copper strip that runs down the side. If it is not sticking out making a " V " shape where the point would touch the side of the bulb, that's generally gonna be the problem. The point of the "V" completes the ground circuit for the bulb. Using a paper clip with a small hook, a precision screwdriver, or something else thin that can give you leverage, GENTLY pull at the strip until it comes out enough to make a good contact. You could also get a replacement socket from the dealership. Ask about rate of failure on this part and other things that would bring about images of recalls, maybe you'll get it free but probably not.

1992 Nissan D21 Rear left turn signal dose not work, why?

I saw this question after answering your other question. Where you didn't say rear left, but only left side not working. You can forget my other answer, if your front left signal stays on bright without blinking, when you signal for left turn. If that is what is happening, the problem could be the socket for that left turn bulb. Do you see any rust or corrosion in the socket when you pull the bulb out? Do you see any broken or stretched wires at the light assembly or going to that assembly? A voltmeter would be your best tool to look for power inside the socket when key is on and left turn is signaled. You also need to remember that that socket has to have a ground wire too. And when a bulb won't light, you need to check both for power to the bulb, and for the ground leaving the bulb. The ground has to be good-it can also be tested with a voltmeter. Even a $5 test light is good for checking for power. Easy to learn basics, too. If you have to do your own work, you might as well get good at it.

Where is turn signal fuse or relay?

I't's on the left hand side above the brake pedal. Most often, Nissan uses the turn signal and hazzard flashers as one unit.

Signal light blinking too fast

I just had that problem with my jeep cherokee and either your bulb has burned out or it is burning out. Time to replace it. Turn the signal light lever on the side that's flashing fast, get out of the vehicle and look at the front and back signal lights and replace the one that isn't blinking...hope this helps.
