Where is the fuse for brake lights on 2004 jeep grand cherokee

The fuse for the brake lights is in the fuse panel under the hood of the vehicle (see picture below). I do not have a diagram of the fuse layout but I believe they are numbered. The fuse you will want to check will be the fuse in the number 27 position and should be a 15 amp fuse (blue). I hope this helps and good luck.

My 2002 Mustang is stuck in park...what to do?

Sounds like your car is equipt with a brake shift interlck which means that you cannot change the vehicle out of park unless the brake pedal is pushed in. There are a couple of things that could be wrong. the interlock switch could be bad or your brake lights are not working. This will cause this. Now for what you really want to know. To get your vehicle out of park you have to do the procedure: With the ignition switch in the on position and the brake pedal depressed, apply the parking brake. Then turn the key to the LOCK position and remove the key. Then put the key back in and turn it to the OFF position. Then push the brake pedal in and at this point you will be able to put the vehicle into the neutral position and be able to start the vehicle and put into the gears of your choice. Here are some things you can check that may be causing this and that is fuses. There are 3 fuses to check. they are in the fuse panel located inside the vehicle to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. I gave you a diagram of the layout of the fuses below. The fuses you want to check will be the number 33 fuse which should be a 15 amp fuse and is for the stop lamps. The second fuse you want to check is the number 35 fuse which is for the shift lock acuator and the last fuse which is the most common to cause this is the number 41 fuse which is for the brake lamp. I hope you were able to understand my instructions and I hope this helps you. Good luck.

What number the fuse number for the brake lights

The fuse for the brake lights is in the engine compartment fuse box, located behind the battery. Open the lid. Several fuses are marked but many are not. There is a group of 12 fuse sockets in the middle of the panel, arranged in 3 rows and 4 columns. The brake light fuse is in row 2, column 2. It powers left, right and middle brake lamps. If your brake switch fails in the ON position, you can pull this fuse until you can get a replacement switch. The drain of these lights being on can kill your battery overnight.

Third brake light fuse number for 2006 vw passat

There is no fuse for the third brake light that I know of, it is wired into the main brake light wiring on most cars anyway. Probably the bulb is blown.
