1986 Buick Park Ave. Loose Steering column

Just wondering how long I can drive it while trying to find another steering column to replace loose one? How risky is it and what to look/listen for if it is gonna break completely??

There are three inverted torques screws in the column that come loose you have to pull the steering wheel pull the swivel pins tighten the little screws. it not hard to do . it is dangerous to drive like this.

I have a 1994 buick park ave ultra.sometimes it turns on sometimes it doesnt but will later on,it wont even turn over.I replaced battery, starter, spark plugs n wire, ignition module n coils, and fuel...

Replace your key or try your spare often time the security chip is worn or not working properly if that isn't itand you can get it to turn on short the starter by taking a large screwdrived(makesure the handle is insulated either plastic or rubber) and touch both terminals on the starter if it starts its the starter relay. Could also be a bad ignition cylinder or loose connection at the ignition cylinder both of which would require removing steering column cover

Put a new ignition tumbler in1995 buick park ave now my steering is all over the road

sounds like something was not put back on tight. this is very dangerous and you should inspect the linkage from the stering wheel to the universal joint on the fram. make sure there are no parts loose. I would'nt drive till this is resolved-way too dangerous.

Heater Core Replacement for 1986 Buick Electra Park Ave

there is no easy way to change out a heater core...you have to take the bottom part of the dash loose and that takes some doing. once you get the bottom of the dash apart you will see the heater core.then you have to go under the hood and unhook both water lines that run to it, you should then be able to pull the heater core out and install the new one
