It's a ten dollor tool. get a the parts store. Or better yet stop by your local body shop and they'll take them off for a few bucks.

Do the headrests on a saxo 998 come off;;and how?

Sometimes there is a small button that you need to press to one side and this releases the catch that holds the head restraint in place. If the restraints do not move up, there is always just enough room to push your fingers underneath the fabric and feel for the moving button.

For a 98 F150 4.6L...How do I disconnect the fuel rod where it has the two connections, with a clip on each. Located above engine, towards the cab. Clips already removed.

Check with your local auto parts store. The clips are a safety device to prevent accidental release. There is a special tool you need to remove the connection. There are different sizes dependent upon the fuel line size. The tool kit usually contains 5 or 6 different sizes and the kit explains how to use. It is easy with the tool and the tool is relatively inexpensive. See photo below...

Invision headrest DVD player model SHMD-0701-BX had the power button pushed in by my 2 year old. Is there any way to remove the player to repair the button without replacing the DVD player. A new player...

Yep, its pretty easy, lower the screen down, your find 4 phillips screws, unscrew them, them the dvd will separate from the headrest. be careful not to tug on the wires too tight, push the button on the connectors to free them from the circuit board, label the white one goes on the left and red connector goes on the right. now you have the dvd free and can remove the screws on the back to free the cover on the front, the button should be stuck between there. have fun

Remove headrest from Buick lacrosse

You need a special tool that slips down inside the seat back and release the spring clip retainer. Contact Snap-On tools, about $30.00

Dvd won't power on

For Volvo Xc-90 2005, same problem with only one headrest dvd working. Start playing a dvd in the working headrest, point the remote at the non working headrest, press media button. This should switch the input back from auxillary to dvd. Tell your kids to never press the media button:)

Rear seatbelt in wrapped around the headrest in my 2007 Ford Explorer.

I have the same problem with my Mountaineer. I'm trying to get the bolts out but they're a strange size, might need a special tool at the dealer.

Removal of headrest on 2005 Ford F150.

The headrest has on obvious button to adjust the height and another button kinda hidden to remove the headrest. The black plastic ring at the base where the metal poles insert into the seat is where the two buttons. You probably noticed the obvious on that sticks out of the side of one of the rings. The other plastic ring contains a similar button that is not noticeable due to it being flush with the side of the plastic ring. Adjust the headrest to its highest position, then locate the "hidden" button on the other plastic ring and depress it while lifting on the headrest and it should come out.
