Something is wrong with ur battery. I dont know about push starts but looks like ur battery is not getting very good connection or bad! Good luck. If ur in walmart a trick u can do is pour Coke a cola over ur battery connections and the coke will eat away all the acidized stuff around ur cables! Good luck!

do the brake lights come on when you press the brake? If not the brake switch is bad. If they do, check your brake fluid. Ive heard of these Altimas having bad master brake cylinders. If your brakes(pads) are good and your fluid is really low, this may be your culprit. Should be covered under warranty.Let me know how you make out.

If it just up and died on the road and will not turn over now even with a jump it almost sounds like you engine may have locked up on you. But it is hard to tell without actually seeing the car. For your sake I do hope it is a different problem. I would like to help you out more. Can you be more specific as to what the car did when it quit on you? Did it make any sounds or anything? Did it quit when you where actually driving or were you sitting some place at an idle? I look forward to hearing from you.

If the RPM's Flare, youv'e gone too long without
recognizing a trans that slips
It will have to come out & be rebuilt, most likely.
