Question about 2003 Toyota Camry

2003 camry vibrations when starting

For the last few days, my Camry 2003 2.4L vibrates strongly for 3-4 seconds after starting. Also the Temperature meter went into RED. Now we add water (about 1L) into the radiator every 2 days and the hi-temperature is under control. We see that the plastic tank for the overflow water from the radiator is always full. It seems the radiator is losing water. The mechanic already replaced the water pump for the radiator and charged me $290 due to the manhours with the checking but the problem seems unresolved. How shall I check out the cause of the problem?

I would suggest that you have a cooling system pressure test done to see if you have a blown head gasket. It should not cost much. a radiator specialist should be able to do it for you.

My mechanics told me the pressure test had been done and had passed. Any idea?

The overflow tank is full. In theory the collant should return from the overflow tank into the radiator when the radiator drops. Is there a problem with the radiator cap valves not working?

Radiator cap, Therostat (likely), possible water pump (unlikely). The vibration may be a bad motor mount. Visually check motor when starting it to see if it shakes a lot.

Toyota Camry 1993 vibration during driving position

So you're saying it starts to shake as soon as you put it in gear? If so, you probably have a dead spark plug or plug wire, or disconnected plug wire. It could be something more serious. Head gasket, cam shaft, timing chain. Try the plugs and wires first, and go from there.

Front end vibration

on both my Camrys, i had this problem. You could really notice it when you were driving down the road going 40-60 mph and punch the gas - car would vibrate, let off the gas - vibration stops, punch the gas - car vibrates...... On both, it was the CV joints. It is much easier to just replace the drive axles (with the new cv joints and boots already installed). For my last replacement, i think thy were only around $65 each.

'03 Toyota Camry vibrating

vibrations will still persist even you change parts involved in the accidents if:
1. Camber and alignment were misplaced during the impact of your accidents.
solution: Have your wheels aligned and cambered
2. Have your tires and rims balance and checked for deformity.
3. inspect your front chassis or that part of your cars body that holds your steering and suspension for any deformity.
Last part could be solved only by a good car tinsmith
