have you had the oil changed lately? If so check the drain plug also check around the oil filter to see if the o-ring popped out. Also when and how much do you add and after you put the car in a different spot how much is comming out and the location?

You must first clean the under carriage very good with a steam cleaner preferably. Then lift up in air let run and you will find leak.

I have a 2002 hyandai elantra Sls I have a bad oil leak on drivers side it's pooling up on transmission it is def motor oil and I know the head gasket is leaking but I don't think it would spray oil would...

I would say to you, first get some engine cleaner spray on that area of the engine and hose off. This will give you a much better idea of where oil is coming from. I think you may have a very bad valve cover gasket. When you drive the car the oil leakage will be more visible. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Oil leaking from above the oil filter

I had this problem on my 06 G6. The oil filter housing gasgket needed to be replaced. The oild filter housing is what the oil filter screws onto, and the housing attaches to the block of the motor, and theres a gasgket inbetween the block and housing. The oil filter housing is held on with three screws, and one is extremely difficult to get to. I also had to remove the belt and unbolt the a/c compressor.

My car is leaking oil. i dont know if its the oil pan or the oil filter came loose? need to know where the oil filters located.

if it leaves small spots the chances are its the pan gasket but the oil filter should be located up in front of the engine on the right hand side... depending on the size of motor

What do I do for a major oil leak? I just drove home and now I have a pool of oil under the car! Its leaking like crazy!

You probably blew a seal somewhere. I would try to pinpoint where the majority of the oil is coming from then replace that seal. A lot of times oil pan seals, drain plugs, rear main seals and valve cover seals can cause large oil leaks.

Engine oil is leaking and i dont know from where

Check the gasket that is around the oil filter cap. I've been having the same problem for about 2 weeks now I've changed the gasket about 3 times and still the oil leaks from that spot. My next move is to replace the cap and see if that works. Good Luck

I have a 2001 honda prelude its leaking a lot of oil from under intake mani fold i just dont know from where any ideas?

it is most likely leaking from the seal at the front of engine gasket between the manifold and motor. the manifold will have to be removed an new gaskets installed.

My 2002 honda odyssey vehicle is leaking oil .

i dont know if this will work but, try to check your power steering in your engine, the leak probably is coming from that part. otherwise, try going to any shops and have them check for any leakage. checkups for cars are usually free.
