SOURCE: dims don't work but brights do.
I believe that all of the Functions Listed above are on the Same Handle. There is a Half Moon Circuit and Switch that Goes around the Steering Shaft inside the Steering Column for this Handle. This is Malfunctioning and will need to be Replaced. Not an Easy Job. You will need to Pull the Sterring Wheel and go from their. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

I finally got mine fixed!! It was the crossover wires between headlights(the wires that run in front of the radiator). One wire was torn into. Spliced them and taped back together. Hope this works for you!! I also used something called wire caps that help hold the spliced wires together. I found this solution on yahoo.com search engine where someone else had suggested this. My only problem was no dim lights, but all the other lights worked fine.

Make sure the TBC fuse is good in the fuse box under the hood. There is also a Headlamp relay, and fuses marked LT HDLP, and RT HDLP, If the RT HDLP and LT HDLP fuses have power, the headlight switch is good. Be sure battery power is present on both sides on these 3 fuses. If you ground the PURPLE or YELLOW wires at the bulbs, they should light. If they do, the one thing that the high and low beams have in common is the hi-low beam switch and the ground for the switch. The ground ends up at the lower left corner of the dash, under the windshield. The relay is a common relay and you will be able to find another one in the fuse box to swap for testing purposes.
