Question about Jaguar Cars & Trucks
"dead" (those cylinders. Claims we have a spark; have fuel; but zippo power. Doesn't know if it's related to intake manifold or what. Had it 8 hours today with Jaguar Logic connected but got to results. A friend thinks it is a "glich" in the computer in my car; it is definitely not the sensors. I'm original owner since 11 miles; love my car; her name is Gardenia. Cannot bear to think of not being able to get her repaired. Tomorrow am having it towed to the Jag Dealership. What do you think? Thank so much. firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi ,what engine do you have. if it was glich or computer issue then you would not be getting fuel or spark on that side. does the motor crank and if so is there any noise coming from the from of the motor. I have a small shop and do mostly engine rebuilds. I am on facebook .when the dealership sees it ,and you have questions to ask, just post on my page and I will get back thank you ted https://www.facebook.com/TedsRepairs

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Have you tried replacing the ignition coils? If they get old and stop working, or if they're damaged, they won't send a strong enough spark to the plugs. AutoZone (I think) apparently does free diagnostic codes for a check engine light. I don't know if you have a check engine light on or not, but maybe the light burned out? It might be worth a try to call them and ask if they can check the codes for you for free.

there are 4 wires at the sender - and 3 wires for the vapour sensor-the two heavier wires are for the pump and the lighter wires are for the guage-the lighter purple wire should have 5 volts on it-if not you may have a wire or computer problem-th guage is an input to the pcm(computor) under the hood and then is transmitted via comm. line to the cluster-if the rest of the guages work in the cluster you need to look at the pcm or wiring to the tank
