1) Google the code with the car model; read the troubleshooting tips
2) replace the spark plug on 3 cylinder if worn out;
3) need to check the el wire condition which supplies el to cylinder 3 - might need to replace the whole wiring el . Package...
4) erase the code once the parts are replaced.

it will be better to replace all spark plugs at once

1995 mercury sable a/c fly wheel is frozen. car will start but belt smokes on unit. repair guy said it was a fuse, but checkd fuses and all are good. this happend overnight and not sure how to correct...


on a 95 its probably just worn out. try turning it with your hand. if you can do so easily its probably good. if not check your local salvage yard.

Why is my fan wobbling and making a noise? and my temp hand running up when I sitting still? then when I take off it goes back down and i see a little black smoke from the tail pipe..its a 1995 hardbody...


The water pump is the culpriet here...
The shaft is worn out and wobbling ... and will not pump at Idol RPMs...

Replace the water pump.... or risk having to rebuild your engine...

u can replace alotta parts-but get more info n other opinions--did u do the filter n oil change--do u hav the rite oil in there--do a pump test to see if pressure is good-if ok then certain parts r worn or hav varnish onum-cud be lookin at a rebuild @16yrs

Either there isn't a good enough craking amps in battery, or the starter solenoid could be loosing it's magneticity.

Section 03-06: Starting System 1996 Taurus, Sable Workshop Manual REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Starter Motor Removal
  1. sth~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif WARNING: WHEN SERVICING STARTER MOTOR (11002) OR PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE IN THE AREA OF THE STARTER MOTOR, NOTE THAT THE HEAVY GAUGE INPUT LEAD CONNECTED TO THE STARTER SOLENOID (11390) IS HOT AT ALL TIMES. MAKE SURE THE PROTECTIVE CAP IS INSTALLED OVER THE TERMINAL AND IS REPLACED AFTER SERVICE.
    Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301). Refer to Section 14-01 .
  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Section 00-02 .
  1. sth~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif CAUTION: When disconnecting hardshell connector of the engine control sensor wiring (12A581) at S-terminal, grasp the plastic shell and pull off. Do not pull on wire. Be careful to pull straight off to prevent damage to the connector and S-terminal. If any part of the connection is damaged, replace the damaged components.
    Disconnect engine control sensor wiring and starter battery cable from starter solenoid.
  1. Remove upper and lower retaining bolts.
  1. Remove starter motor.

well if you know it has a blown cylinder they you need to rebuild the motor and that cant be explained over the internet. the easier thing to do is to buy a used motor and replace the whole thing. those motors and small and cheap. you will waste more time rebuilding the motor that you would just getting a cheap used one and replacing it.
