Is the engine getting up to temperature?

If so, then check valve/motor operation on heater matrix, under dashboard.

The engine is getting up to temperature. All the hoses are hot to the touch. Could you help me a little more and tell me where the heater matrix is exactly? Thank you for your help.

The heater matrix will be close to the centre of the car, up under the dashboard. It will be covered with plastic shrouding, which will have to be removed before you can access to it. It should be somewhere tucked right behind the stereo area. If the pipes leading to it are hot, but there is no heat coming through it, then it is likely the valve operation on it has failed, or that it has become blocked.

Check out the Homelink Website. I found instructions for my wife's GS300 there. I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not 100% sure this will work.

SOURCE: ? to Replace Timing belt on 2000 Lexus Rx300 with 57,000 miles.

If it is running perfectly I wouldn't think that you would need to replace the timing belt. You shouldn't need to replace that until 100,000-120,000 miles. I would definitely hold off until now unless you have start having some timing problems. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

What does code system to lean bank 1 mean on my 2000 lexus rx300

It could be caused by many things, but generally it means that your engine is running too lean - usually indicating a vacuum leak. It could also be that the O2 sensor is bad and giving a false reading.

2000 lexus RX300 transmission problem

Are you check trans fluid levels? Sound like a problem with the torque converter or internal valve body solenoids clugged. I suggest check with your technician before to buy or think in replacement parts.

Hope this helps.

How do I get a 2000 Lexus RX300 fixed, if Air Bubble gets trapped in the HAVC unit?

If this is causing the no heat situation.
Rev the engine to 4000 rpm that should push it out, but you may have a leak somewhere in the system. Is there red fluid leaking anywhere?

I am needing a door lock actuator (passenger door) for my 2000 Lexus RX300. Do you know of any parts places besides Lexus where I might find one ?

Try to find your solution here, from Germany Lexus Owners:

QUOTE
I justreplaced my door lock actuator on my 2003 Lexus RX300. A rather comprehensive set of instructions for removal of the door panel can be found at: clublexus.com door+panel+removal

To remove the door handle trim: after removing the screw in the door handle trim, pry (I use a painters 5 in 1 tool) the trim piece outwardsfrom the rear of the door panel at both the top and bottom of the trim piece. This will release the two small rear clips. Then push the trim forward to release the main clip located on the back side the handle trim piece

As the least expensive OEM replacement door lock actuator for Lexus RX300 is $230 or more, I opted for the $15 replacement option as outlined below: us.lexusownersclub.com/forums

Keep in mind that this job outlined above is a bit on the technical side.If you aren't that talented, spend the money and order a OEM Lexus replacement latch actuator and do the installation as the OEM latch assembly is not repairable.

Viel Gluck (good luck in German)
END QUOTE

I hope helps with this. Good luck.
