Hi,

Have you checked the front strut thrust bearing? I had one break a
couple of years ago on my 1994 900S and it had a very similar effect
on the steering wheel. It did not show a lot of other effect on the
operation of the car.

I was told it was not uncommon on the NG 900, but had been addressed
in the 9-3. Maybe not.

try using LUCAS oils power steering conditioner, it is the only one I know of that really works, also I would recommend you flush the power steering fluid before you add this product.

How to replace #1 ignition coil mazda mpv 2004

As this is on the rear bank the intake Plenum has to come off or at least be raised, did mine just a few days ago wasn't as difficult as I expected. However if you are going there replace all 3 coils while you are there and check the plugs as well. Allow 2-3 hours for first time.

How to change ignition coil on 2004 mazda mpv #2 cyl

No 2 is on the rear bank, to get at it the intake plenim has to come off, if going there it pays to do all 3 coils while there. If one has gone the others are prbably near thear end as well, and it's labour intensive to have to do again.

Ignition Coil failure 04 MPV

This is a known issue. Doesn't have to do with overheating or moisture, or whatever. Mazda is making a killing on replacing these coils. Going on 3rd set, luckily first two times were covered under warranty.
