Question about 1999 Pontiac Sunfire
My wifes POJ 99 sunfire is overheating to the point that the oil pressure light is coming on, with cast syntech 10w30 in it btw. but if i have her turn the ac on the lowest setting its fine so i know its the cooling fan. but i cant find any thing to help me fix it. the old car, what im asking is, is there an easy way to hot-wire the fan to come on when the car is started and off when its off? i tryed just crossing the terminals where i pulled the relay, but the fan stayed on regardless of key position. or is this a cheap fix like a fuse-link or something. im just thinking its a expensive fix possibly new computer. any help would be apreciated
Run wire from fans inside car to ignition switch pink wire and it will go on and off with key these wires will be all togeather large along with yellow two reds and brown etc. use the pink.
