disconecting the battery should reset the pcm. but you will need to find out what caused the problems.

That is a hard problem to pin point without knowing what codes the computer has stored. It can be any number or sensors or engine problems.

You can go to most auto parts stores and they will pull the codes for you for free.

YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WITH THE ELECTRONIC STEERING COLUMN. YOU NEED TO HAVE THE SYSTEM CHECKED FOR CODES AND GO FROM THERE.
