Question about Mercedes-Benz SLK
Slk 230 kompressor immobiliser proble? lights come on on the dash but doesnt seem to send power to sarter motor is this an immobiliser problem ??? Faulty wiring ?? Starter Motor??? ECU ??? Have I got to reset key fob ???? Anyone had a similar problem????

There is usually a light on the instrument cluster that tells you if hte immobiliser has disabled the starter. Something like a key with an X through it or something similar. See if that light is illuminated. If not, check the obvious things like fuses. Jags ignition switches have been known to have a short life span. You may need a new ignition switch and that should be done by a professional mechanic. Good luck.
