Will not stay lite

probable wants a new thermocouple ( F F D flame failure device.)
or its not set directly in flame , or your flame jet is parsley blocked and the thermocouple is not hot enough to hold the gas valve open.
THERMOCOUPLES when hot generate a minute voltage that creates a magnet affect in the gas valve and holds it open if the thermocouple is burnt out or not set correctly the flame will not stay on . the black mark on your fire is a sign the gas is not burning correctly at that point causing ,may be due to oxygen
starvation , my suggestion is when the fire is off and cold give the part around the thermocouple a good vacuum to remove any build up of fluff /dust. if this does not work you need to get the thermocuple replaced and the fire serviced. good luck

Why does my quadra fire 1000 not lite..i checked blower moter ignighter could it be thermocouple?

Wood burning or pellet stoves create acid vapor. The vapor damages thermocouples faster than a gas stove.

How do u light for hot water? 1992 bounder

Depends on the gas valve on the heater. Early models you have to use a match near the pilot light while holding the red button down. Continue to hold the red button down for 30 seconds or more. Slowly release the red button . If the pilot light goes out then replace the thermocouple. That looks like a small diameter copper tube that goes from the gas valve into the burner to make contact with the flame. If your heater has a piezo spark unit on it. you go thru the same as above but without the need for a match

My heater just stopped working and don't have manual so where do i start trying to figure out what's wrong

If you are talking about a gas heater and the pilot light will not stay lit, you probably need to replace the thermocouple. That is the piece that is sticking into the pilot light flame. If it fails then the heater will not open the main valve. You will need to know your make, model, and serial number to get the correct part. I suggest you visit the attached website to learn about replacing the part using their video selection. To find the cheapest price for the part I suggest a web search once you find the part number. Coolent fans don't work

It probably wasn't the relay to begin with. Go to the library and get a copy of the Chiltons repair book for your car. Those fans are controlled by a thermocouple somewhere in the radiator fluids as it runs through either the block or the intake manifold. There is a sensor in there somewhere. Find the sensor and replace it. Or, you can find a good radiator shop in your area and have him find it and replace it.

The temperature is reading 43 degrees and it is 61 degrees

Probably just the thermocouple They are made of two dissimilar metals spot welded together and contact can break down at the edges resulting in reduced efficiency, hence lower numbers than expected at the gauge end. You don't even want to talk about it if its the gauge itself. Console clusters are built as a unit. No Replaceable parts.

It was going to cost me $600.00+ plus installation to fix 3 burned out micro-bulbs on my Avalanche Dash. Not even the bulbs are replaceable anymore. I was able to find some after some looking, but I haven't a clue where you'd buy the correct gauge part. It's NOT like it's a 1/64th scale Street Light. Those you can find.

Hi ihave a mercedes e300 1999 the engine tempeture is 100 evenn after i replaced the water pump ,radiator ,fan and fixed the block

IS the radiotor boiling or is it only the temp showing the indication. If so the meter or the thermocouple could be defective. other wise you need to check your engine tuning/mistiming / that needs to be set right to the manufacturers setting., Have you got this done at an authorised centre or was it a trial/ error basis to replace all these items. I suggest you show it to a reputed / authorised centre for the right diagonosis, right OE parts .. please dont waste money.. I hope my advise is helpful. Good day.
