SOURCE: fuel pump location 1988 ford econoline

Theres 2 pumps one in the tank, lift pump, and one in the chassis rail under the driver side. The one in the tank is cheap, the one in the rail is not. The one in the tank only produces low pressure to prime the main pump and if it is broken, may not cause that much of an issue except when starting. the one in the rail is a no-start if it fails. The idea is that the rail pump can supply high pressure for the injectors, so a fuel pressure test at the injector rail will determine which pump is playing up. Hope that helps Tim

SOURCE: 1995 ford econoline van speedo/trans

It is either the speed sensor, the wireing in between ot the speedometer module it self. The sensor sends pulse train signal to the speedometer module and there it drives the speedometer and is divided in frequency by about 7 and feed to the computer and the cruise control. When the signal drops the Engine management computer thinks the speed is real slow and raises the transmission pressure.

In the one I had it was a cold solder jooint on the bacjk of the speedometer module itself but this was the divided output and the speedometer itself still worked. The easyest part would be the sensor that mounts on the rear axile I believe and should cost less than 30.00 dollars. If not that thebn it's the wiring or the speedometer module electronics..

The service engine soon light came on and stays on on our 1998 ford Van. Any ideas on what it could mean? The van still runs fine.

Usually this is a sensor problem, caused by water or other molecule build up. If you are not noticing any heavy dragging or thumping-- you will be alright. Just ensure you keep up on oil changes and don't let it overheat.

I have a 1998 ford econoline van with a 6.8 v 10 i have a problem with it running in a lean condition according to an obd2 code reader please help

If it's both banks check for vacuum leaks. Also the mass air flow sensor could be contaminated. remove it and clean it with brake clean, thru both ends. This will eliminate your problems. If it's one bank then the 02 sensor has probably gone bad. Have it checked with a more suffisticated computer, they should be able to tell you what is wrong. I go buy the numbers not the codes. But do the fist two solutions and go from there. Let me know

LOCATION OF LOW PRESSURE AC VALVE ON 1992 FORD ECONOLINE 150 TO CHARGE AC

Valve is between accumulator and evaporator on the passenger side. Your van originally came with R-12 freon, so you will need to verify that it has been converted to R-134 before adding freon. The different gasses (and especially the lubricating oils) do not mix well.

Cant find the oil filter on a Ford E150 Van

Under the engine, between the rear of the engine and the front of the transmission. It will be on a mount with an oil cooler, (it has metal fins) on the driver's side.
