Can i buy a wheel sensor for my 1999 silverado?

You are going to want to go to a store in your area that sells OEM replacement parts. If you want to shop online, I would recommend www.car-part.com. Hope this helps!

2006 Chevy Silverado. Blower motor harness and resistor is melted any idea of the part numb ers and a good place to purchase these besides a dealer? Thanks, Joe

If there is a Auto Zone around your area, you can buy the blower resistor for around $30.00 or Parts Source and they will have the step by step instructions for you to get the job done with common tools and they can also order you any wire harness you may need if damaged. Good luck and keep me posted.

1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 , Will not start and no headlights

Dead battery? Battery cables corroded off, broken wire, fuseable link, it could be any number of things. I've seen battery cables that will corrode internally and they look fine from the outside. Go to an auto parts store ang buy a test light and start following the battery cable test for power at the terminals, try not to probe the the insulation, that gives moisture a spot to get in. Check the grounds too the ground cable from the battery can get corroded where it bolts to frame. On a vehicle of that age it could be most anything especially, if you live in a area where road salt is used to melt ice and snow.

What is the diameter of the rear brake rotor

you can take a tape measure to do so or it should be stamped on the area where it mounts to the hub, stamped in. probably in millimeters(MM).

How can I turn the ABS lights off in my 2001 Chevy Silverado

The ABS light indicates there is an issue with your ABS. If there is an Auto Zone around your area, have then scan the ECM for the DTC codes that has triggered the ABS light to come on. The common cause for this in your truck is a bad or dirty ABS sensor at the front wheels. Buy a can of brake parts cleaner and a brass feller gauge or you can just use the paper trick. Locate the ABS sensor on the inside of the front wheel hub and spray it clean with the brake parts cleaner and look for any damages caused buy corrosion or broken wire leads to the ABS sensor. If all wire leads are good, check to make sure the gap from the ABS sensor to the speed ring on the hub is correct. The gap should be 0.005 to 0.050 inch (0.127mm to 1.270mm), use a brass feeler gauge so it wont stick to the magnetic abs sensor or the thickness or a paper folded in fours. Good luck and hope this helps.

Running problem

Hi,
Check and clean spark leads, check and clean distributer cap or around coil pack areas.

Most likely cause is a fault around this HT area and distribution of spark.

Use an ignition sealer or buy a new set of HT leads - and replace them in the correct order (do one at a time).

Hope this helps.
