Your switch is on the passenger side of the transmission opposite where the shift linkage goes in on the drivers side.It takes a bit of careful prying and wiggling and some solvent to get most to come off. after removing the hardware that holds it on. The switch goes for about $200 but can be taken apart and cleaned...unless the contacts are really burned it will generally work after that. make sure that you keep it flat when taking it apart because stuff inside can fall out easily. Put dielectric grease in there before closing it up.Can't help with schematic...the ones I have I wouldn't wish on anyone. (terrible)

Sounds like a bad starter, why did you replace the crank position sensor? If the engine will not turn over at all and it sparks with trying to jump the solenoid with a screw driver it seem as though the starter is bad. First you solve the solenoid problem when you jumped the solenoid with a screw driver sending fire to the starter. Check the cable connections to the starter if they are good replace the starter this should fix your problem.

You can bypass the switch; it's just not recommended.
If you get stuck somewhere, because of this NSS Failure, (make sure the transmission is in park) you can place the key in the crank position, and use a small piece of wire to bypass the starter relay under the hood. It will get you home.
I would NOT recommend this as a daily occurrence; but, if you are stuck and need to get home - it will work.
