Question about Ford Cars & Trucks
The wrench light comes on when you need an oil change. This only happens long enought to train you the you have to do it on your own. The owners manual teaches you how to turn it off. My service engine light came on when my mass air flow connector was bad. It runs 200 degrees above ambient and the amount of air needed is determined relative to the cooling of this 200 degree thermo element by the air flowing past it. hitching the various connectors solved my own problem. Also, air filters would be changed every 20,000 miles.
