You can get a manual at most parts stores or go to your local lbrary and see if they have the repair manual and get copies of the pages related to your problem.

you need to take it to your local dealer and raise a big fuss because this is a known problem and if you yell loud enough you should be able to get this fixed under warranty.

SOURCE: My 2007 Mazda CX-7 is making a chattering sound on

the chain has stretched, it will get worse and you will damage the engine. you need to take it to the dealer so they can fix it under warranty. they now about the problem and in the last few months have seen a lot of these. if you are not over 60k then you still have power train warranty and can get it fixed for free.

SOURCE: mazda cx-7 2008 left headlight stopped working,

check the wiring from the headlight. You want to find the ground wire which is usually a black wire thats secured to some metal part of the car. Basically just check that all your wires are in tact and tightly secured. A bad ground is a very common electrical problem.

With the number of steps required to do this, your best bet is to purchase a Haynes manual (or equivalent). This way you have photos of the procedure plus all the correct torque spec for all the bolts when reinstalling.

I have replaced the timing chain & water pump on Mazda CX7 2007 with turbo. I cannot find anything on how to set the timing. Please help. Now no one will even work on it .

There are no timing marks, special tools are needed. The Mazda dealer should have been the only one to work on it. Mechanics never want to work on "Basket Cases" because of the time involved in the job. It turns a good job into a money loser. See if the dealer will at least set the timing marks for you, and you can do the rest without any liability to them. No one wants to do a job like that and then the customer wants a guarantee that there are no problems. The timing chain alone is a 5-6 hour job.
